About Picton Ontario
Picton is a picturesque town in Prince Edward County Ontario. Established in 1837, Picton grew into a thriving commercial center, and was even home to Sir John A. MacDonald for a time!

Today Picton is better known for its small-town feel, wonderful architecture, and beautiful natural surroundings. Picton is also home to many of the numerous artisans and craftspeople that make their home in Prince Edward County. But best of all, Picton is only minutes from a spectacular natural feature, one of the worlds largest fresh water sand dunes found at Sandbanks Provinical Park. It's a wonderful place to enjoy miles of beautiful sand beaches.
